Once the top is twisted down to initially break and crush pills, a simple reverse twist then slight pressure on the top allows the grinding surface to freely spin similar to a pepper grinder. Exclusive Top Down Crushing into Serving Cup If you continue to free spin the Maxgrind Lite in the upright position after crushing is complete, air will circulate within the crusher and blow the remaining powder into the bottom cup. This will result in minimal medication remaining on the grinding surface and in the crushing well. A clear, snap-on serving cup allows easy viewing and collection of crushed medication, so you can easily check the progress. Multiple Pills Can Be Crushed at One Time The smart crushing surface and design of MAXGRIND allow the crushing and grinding of multiple pills at once with minimal effort. A clear, snap-on bottom cup allows easy viewing and collection of crushed medication. Medication can be easily mixed in a clear cup and emptied into food or drink or a diluent can easily be added and mixed to draw into a feeding syringe. Less Residue Left Behind Due to Smart Design Ridges on the grinding surface provide fast, dual-action. Uniquely shaped and spaced ridges on the top crushing surface both crush and grind medications into a fine powder that is sifted into the bottom serving cup. These ridges are designed so that powder is pushed out and funneled through the crusher into the bottom serving cup, leaving less residue behind which ensures a more complete dose. HOW TO USE MAXGRIND LITE STEP 1 Unscrew the top cap and place your pill or multiple pills into the well. Replace the top and twist until the tip tightens. Twist clockwise until you feel the initial crush/breaking of pills. STEP 2 Turn a slight twist counterclockwise, then with slight pressure on the top, you can freely twist the crusher back and forth like a pepper grinder. Continue to spin holding it upright. STEP 3 Remove the clear bottom cup to access your fine medicine powder. You could mix it in the cup with water or juice for easy administration. Also works with drawing into a syringe. Easy Maintenance The MAXGRIND's bottom clear cup can be used not only to collect medicine and supplement powder, but you can also add liquid to mix your medications with for even easier administration. The clean-up is easy. When you're finished grinding, take off the bottom clear plastic cup and the cap to remove any pill residue from the crusher. Rinse with warm water and let it dry completely before each use to ensure proper grinding action.
