I bought this adapter for one of my B cameras, a Sony HDR-CX560v. I have had great luck with Century optics adapters in the past. I had a bayonet mount Century adapter on my Canon Xh-A1, and I really liked the quality. This adapter is unusable. The extremely sharp black vignetting around the image when zoomed out makes this unusable, and if you zoom in enough too eliminate the black ring around the image, you are more cropped than without it. The image is also very distorted by the wide angle lens. I tried to do a digital work around using after effects in post to correct the problem, but the vig is too bad to correct without lowering the image quality. The edges are also very soft. I have been a big Scneider and Century Optics fan, but this is a huge disappointment.
