This unit was purchased about a year ago for a cornbread class I teach at a local technology center. At that time it was $36 or so. If the same unit is being sold now (and it appears to be) it is a steal at $6 less. It is great for cracking corn, wheat, rye and other hard grains. It does not make "flour" and, no doubt, is not intended for that purpose. The center has had it and used it for a year and it has served us very well. Highly recommended for to crack hard grain!
