These sanding disks work as well as any other that I’ve gotten from the big box stores. I have a backing pad that works with either my angle grinder or if I use an adapter, I can use my drill. With my angle-grinder that has a slide switch that locks, I can turn these into a small spinning sanding surface and then just control my workpiece on it - works like a charm and I don’t have to invest in another table top machine (which makes Hubby happy). Cleans up the cut end of slats for the garden benches I’m building with ease.There is no marking on these pads to indicate the grit, but my DIY storage solution solves this. My tip: I store my angle grinder disks in window front pencil pouches - the kind that fit into a binder - and I either cut out the identifying info from the package or write the info on an index card and slide it into the pouch so it shows through the window. This way, I don’t have a bunch of opened packages of different sizes or worse, loose grinding wheels with nothing to identify them. I also separate the type of wheel into different color pouches to make it even easier to find the right wheel/disk. I have an over the door organizer (like the ones for toys or shoes) that hangs on the back of the door between the garage and house and I slide those colorful pencil pouches into the mesh pockets with the windows facing out so I can easily find what I need.
